Good value, minor snag

We signed up for the Google Workspace Shared Contacts Manager and it's been pretty effective for our small business. The annual billing discount made it a good value. Installation was simple enough. The only minor thing was that customer support took a day to respond to a question about mobile syncing, but they did resolve it. Overall, a solid tool.

Comprehensive contact sharing

My team recently integrated Shared Contacts for Google Contacts. The initial setup was quite intuitive, took about 15 minutes to get the core features running. We tested it for a week before committing, and the trial really helped. We're a remote team, so having everyone see the same contact list in Gmail is crucial. Sharing contact labels works as expected, and updates sync quickly. I checked out the Shared Contacts for Mobile as well, and it mirrored the web experience. I had a quick question about user permissions, and the online chat support was responsive within an hour. The pricing structure is clear, and we opted for the annual plan to save a bit. It's been a reliable addition to our workflow.

Love this for my team!

Got the Shared Contacts for Google Contacts set up for our marketing team and it's been a game changer! Seriously, no more asking 'who has that client's number?' Everyone's on the same page. So easy to manage contact labels, too. Will definitely keep using this service!

Always a smooth process

Another year, another renewal for our Shared Contacts for Gmail. The setup for new team members is consistently straightforward. Never had any issues with billing or service. It just works.

how does this compare to something like ContactBook? Is one better for larger teams?

J Jeff J. 1 month ago
I've used both. Shared Contacts Manager feels more integrated with Google Workspace, which is a big plus if your team is heavy into Gmail and Google Contacts. ContactBook is good, but the sharing felt a bit clunkier for our specific setup.

For larger teams, I think SCM scales better. We had some issues with ContactBook once we hit a certain number of users, but SCM has been smooth sailing so far. Plus the integrations are broader, like with Salesforce and HubSpot.

Hey, wondering if anyone's tried the free trial. Is it actually useful for seeing if it fits your team, or is it super limited?

S Stephanie Walker 1 month ago
Yeah, the 15-day free trial is pretty full-featured. Gives you enough time to kick the tires and see how it integrates with your Google Workspace.

I found it useful. No credit card needed either, so it's low risk. Just try it.

Thinking of getting this for my small non-profit. Saw something about discounts, how much can we really save?

N Nancy Moore 1 month ago
If you're a registered non-profit, they offer a pretty sweet 50% discount. You just need to verify your status.

That 50% for non-profits is a huge deal. Definitely worth looking into, it makes it super affordable.

Does anyone know if they ever have Black Friday sales? Or should I just jump on the annual billing discount now?

O Olivia Allen 1 week ago
They totally do! I snagged a pretty good deal last Black Friday, I think it was even better than the annual discount. If you can wait, it might be worth it.

Yeah, they usually have something for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The annual discount is always there (20% off monthly price), but those holiday sales can be deeper, from my experience.
